At Bilkent University Faculty of Education, we prepare teachers and educational leaders who combine academic excellence with social responsibility. Our mission is to advance knowledge through research, innovation, and practice, and to empower educators who will shape the future of learning both in Turkiye and worldwide.
History
The Faculty of Education at Bilkent University, together with the Graduate School of Education, specializes in graduate-level teacher education and educational research. Since its establishment, it has focused on preparing outstanding educators, stimulating change, and generating new knowledge in educational communities.
The Teacher Education Unit (part of the Faculty) has graduated over four hundred teachers since the Graduate School of Education opened. These graduates are recognized for their leadership roles in schools across Ankara and other major Turkish cities, and many contribute to international educational initiatives as well.
Mission
The Faculty of Education at Bilkent University is committed to:
